Students experience an interdisciplinary curriculum driven by a common core reflecting various disciplines and concentrating on effective communication, complex thinking and high standards of performance. GNTA students utilize various technologies to access and manage information, and create final projects for presentations.
Our goal is to enable students to develop a positive vision of themselves, and to become responsible, independent, self-directed learners. We have adopted a Project-based learning (PBL) system to guide and support students to think creatively, solve complex problems, communicate effectively and work in small groups.
New Tech Network, a national non-profit organization, engages with public school districts to develop innovative schools. NTN schools are centered around a culture that enables so that students graduate ready for college and career. Student achievement is the measure of our success.

Each year the club offerings change because the creation is student-led. Perhaps taking it back old school to cottage crafts is how you unwind? This year the students are knitting, sewing, and crocheting.
Here at GNTA we strive to ensure each student is prepared to reach his or her educational and career goals after graduation. We expose our students to many opportunities through field trips, college visits, career expos, college and career fairs, conferences, guest speakers, programs and much more!
For students that want to accelerate completion of their degree, they have the option to enroll in SRJC courses while attending GNTA.
Please connect with the GNTA Principal Jessica Glentzer for additional questions.
Wellness Centers are safe, supportive spaces on school campuses where students can take a break, manage stress, and prioritize their mental well-being. These spaces offer a calm environment for self-guided activities like breathing exercises, journalism, or simply resting, and they provide an opportunity for students to connect with trained staff when additional support is needed.
In designing GNTA's facility, Alicia Said and Jessica Glentzer empowered students to build their own program and services. Additionally, local and regional partnerships including SCOE, Keystone, and others were formed to support the coordination of school-based mental health services to ensure services are responsive, sustainable, compassionate, and culturally and linguistically appropriate.
The Wellness Center is available during school hours for quick brain breaks, small groups, and private sessions.
